I LOVE GOOD FACIAL PRODUCTS AND AM NOT OPPOSED TO SPENDING A GOOD AMOUNT OF MONEY ON CLEANSERS AND MOISTURIZERS. DIY TONER, ON THE OTHER HAND, IS EASY TO MAKE AND WORKS WELL ON MY SKIN. Who remembers Sea Breeze? If you’re in your 40’s you’re smiling right now. Toners have come a long way since then. Some carry alcohol to help prevent acne. Others contain salicylic acid that unclogs pores. And others contain brightening agents. Why use a toner? The main reason for using one is to balance the ph of the skin. Our skin is somewhat acidic and cleansing disturbs that number. Toners will help restore that balance quickly. I’ve used this DIY toner for a year now. It’s a very moisturizing one and has left my skin feeling and looking great. This is a toner for a normal to oily skin type. Some twists on this recipe might be to add a drop or two of vitamin E, a couple drops of Bergamot essential oil, or Chamomile oil. Our readers’ comments below have some great ideas, too. I’d LOVE to hear back from you on any tweaks you make to it! And be sure to check out my recipe for DIY Facial serum! It smells AMAZING & my skin looks so much better! DIY FACIAL TONER Ingredients:
